August gives us World Breastfeeding Week (August 1-7) as well as National Breastfeeding Month in the US! Both of these events celebrate, advocate, and educate about breastfeeding. La Leche League Durham, North Carolina, is proud to support local lactating families this month and always.

La Leche League of Buncombe County meets on the last Saturday of the month at Homegrown Families (201 Charlotte St, Asheville, North Carolina). The July meeting is on Saturday, July 26th from 10:30am to 12pm.
Everyone is welcome! Come for the whole meeting, or if you only have a few minutes, feel free to drop in later or leave early. We will be there for support, to answer questions, or even help with latching problems.
We would love to see you there! Babies and toddlers are always welcome.
