Live Love Latch!® is a National Breastfeeding Month (August 1-31) celebration presented by La Leche League USA (LLL USA) and hosted by LLL Groups throughout the country. This is the 13th year for this annual event. Our local event will be August 1st at Bridge Park in Sylva.

Everyone is invited to attend and sign the declaration of support. You do not need to be breastfeeding to be included. Family, friends, doctors, lactation consultants, midwives, businesses, legislators, and anyone else who supports breastfeeding in our community are welcome.

The key goal of Live, Love, Latch! is to raise awareness of how a supportive community can help nursing dyads breastfeed successfully. 

The reunion picture and activities will take place on Wednesday, August 7th, after the Wednesday meeting. Can’t attend the meeting? No problem. Come just for the picture. 

• Gather together at around 11:20am (email for the link).
• See old and new friends; sign in to the Live, Love, Latch!® event; and add a word or two in the chat about your lactation journey. 
• Picture taken between 11:25am and 11:30am. Little ones are welcome, too!
• Children’s books giveaway. No problem if you cannot stay. If your name is selected, we will drop off the book or mail it to you.
• Then, if you have time, stay on the call for some catching up with old and new friends.
